Our Gingerbread Village Kids Shopping Night is back again this year!  On December 6, from 5-7 p.m., there will be a chance for any child ages 4 through third grade to come and “buy” a gift for two special people in their life.  Children will be asked to check out a holiday book, write a letter to Santa, decorate a gingerbread person to be hung on a tree at the library, and take a selfie with the library’s gingerbread man and post it to Facebook.  Once the child completes all four activities, they will receive their ticket to be presented the night of the Gingerbread Village event.  There will be gifts tailored to all ages available to choose from.  Our Gingerbread Village helpers will help the child pick out a gift and then wrap and tag it.  Parents can wait outside Gingerbread Village in the Community Room or enjoy the library while your child shops, but we do ask that they remain in the building.  15-minute reservations will be taken for this event.  Hurry and register as spots are limited!
