The main entrance to the Community Room is just inside the library doors and off the lobby. Although meetings must start during library hours, they may extend past the library’s closing time in this area only. Access to the restrooms will be available. Use of this room does not include the use of the lobby which would disrupt the ingress and egress of library users. Meetings/setup must begin during regular library hours (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, Wednesday and Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, closed Sunday).

Seating setup is flexible but the tenant of the room must return chairs, tables, etc. to the standard configuration posted in the room. Available furniture includes twelve 30″ by 72″ tables, 100 stackable chairs, six 60″ round tables, and a lectern on a table.  An LCD projector with laptop and DVD/Blu-Ray player, overhead projector, slide projector, flip chart stand or a portable sound system may be reserved. There is a wall-mounted whiteboard and a movie screen is each end of the room.

The Community Room is dividable by a moveable wall. Only a library staff person may open or close the moveable wall.

The South section includes access to a small sink, countertop, microwave oven, coffeepots and garbage bags.

When different groups meet at the same time in the two sections, the North section’s access to restrooms is through the library and that section must be vacated before the library closes.
