Barn Quilt Program
Suzi Parron will bring her presentation here to Jay County. Sharing photos of over 100 barn quilt squares, she will take you on an engaging journey along the barn quilt trail, telling stories and anecdotes that will both inform and entertain.
Jay County Postal History Program
Join Jeff Crown as he presents a discussion of Jay County postal history and stamp collecting. Presentation will be held in the Community Room.
Love Your Library Experience begins
In February, we will be offering a month-long “Love My Library Experience” with loyalty prize drawings, programs and drop in activities. The more you visit and check out in February the greater your chance to win a Dewey Decimal Themed Gift Basket. Your experience will begin on February 1st and last until the 28th.
Create A Valentine
Crafty supplies will be available to make paper valentines for that someone special. Drop in between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm.
Love Your Library Experience ends
Turn in all Library Loyalty Cards by February 28th to be entered into gift basket drawings.
Mom & Me Jewelry Making
Make memories while you make a bracelet. Offerings for a variety of abilities with bead stringing, friendship bracelet weaving, and stamped metal bracelets. Supplies and instruction provided. Suitable for ages 8 and up.
Fireworks Painting
Using different techniques including straws, cardboard tubes, and forks, we will paint fireworks onto dark background paper. Details will be added with other media. All ages welcome.
Young McDonald’s Farm Stories at Jay County Fair
Join us in the Farmers' Building at the fairgrounds as we read farm stories and sing animal songs along with FFA members and their young animals. For all ages.
Silly Safari
Silly Safari's LIVE animal show is the perfect blend of fact and fun for all ages! It features a variety of reptiles, mammals, birds, and bugs. The entire audience will be involved, and special guests from the audience join each animal for a game that teaches about the natural world.
