All ages are invited to participate in JCPL’s writing contest this summer, which will take place June 3-July 20. Kids who have completed grades K-8 may write a short comic strip for a chance to win a prize! First place winners will receive their own writing kits. Second and third place will receive prizes as well. There are three separate age groups, so please check the rules for the group your child is in. Teens (9^th grade+) and adults may write a short story in any genre you choose for a chance to win a prize! First place for teens and adults will each receive writing bundles, and there will also be prizes for second and third place as well. Winners will be announced on July 29. Please stop by the library’s information table for a rule sheet with a complete description of the contest. Good luck and enjoy your writing!
