Survival Skills Workshop
June 3 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Do you have what it takes to survive in the wilderness? Join us for a Wilderness Survival Skills workshop on Monday, June 3 in the parking lot of the library. Come learn about making wilderness shelters, fire-starting techniques, how to find fresh water and food, and what to do if you are lost and need rescue. This two-hour program is recommended for children in grades 2-6, and participants should dress for outdoor activities. We will remain outside in light rain but will move indoors if it storms. Two sessions will be available to choose from: 10 a.m.-12 p.m. or 1:30-3:30 p.m. Registration is required and space is limited, so call or visit the library to reserve your spot!
