Calling all muggles! Whether you are a long-time fan or just becoming one, join us on Thursday, July 21 from 5-7 p.m. at the library for a unique Harry Potter fandom experience! Upon your arrival at the library, you will get sorted into your house. Then, you can visit the Great Hall in the Community Room for HP inspired snacks and Butterbeer tasting! As you venture out into the children’s section, you will be able to visit various stations to spend your wizarding currency to create a sand magic potion, house-colored slime, license your wand, and more! If you visit the adult side of the library, you can complete the Golden Snitch Scavenger hunt for a prize at the front desk. Finally, you can sign up to play a game of Quidditch in the parking lot (weather permitting and a signed waiver will be required to participate). Come and see what awaits you in the magical wizarding world of Harry Potter at the Jay County Public Library! Dressing up for this event is encouraged but not mandatory!
