Join local author Donna Haggenjos and illustrator Stephen McClung as they share their children’s book Oaks, the Mighty Tree on Saturday, October 15 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. This family event will begin with a reading of the story, followed by cookies and interactive fall activities for children. Children will have a chance to make a leaf person craft, a wood and leaf owl, and learn about the lifecycle of an oak tree. Books will be available to purchase for $12 and can be signed by the author and illustrator.
