Let’s go on a reading adventure as a community! From June 3-July 20, JCPL is challenging you to help us reach a community goal of reading 300,000 minutes (or 5,000 hours) this summer!  When we reach our goal, we will celebrate with free popcorn and cookies at the library from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 25. All ages are invited to visit the library’s front desk any time beginning June 3 and pick up reading bookmarks for all ages. For every 15 minutes you read, color or mark off the icons on the bookmark. Once your bookmark is completed, write your name and phone number on it and return it to the library to be entered into the prize drawings! Each completed bookmark is equal to one entry. Children ages 0-12 will also receive a free book for every bookmark completed. You may complete and turn in as many logs as you would like! Visit the library often, read as much as you can, and let’s go on a book adventure together this summer!
