Come to the library’s front desk to pick up a pumpkin to bring home and decorate with your family this Halloween season! Pumpkins will be available starting October 1 to pick up and decorate, while supplies last. Pumpkins must be returned to the library fully decorated by October 23 and will be displayed October 27-31 for library patrons to cast their votes for their favorite pumpkin. Pictures of the pumpkins will also be posted on Facebook for online voting. The winning family will be contacted the following week and will receive a family gift basket.

Rules for the contest:

• Families must only use pumpkins provided by the library.
• Pumpkins cannot be cut or punctured.
• Pumpkins can be decorated in any fashion, but it is required for all decorations to be family-friendly.
• Families can take their pumpkin home beginning Monday, November 3.
