Sip and Strum: An Acoustic Coffeehouse Concert with A. J. Wetzel
JCPL is excited to welcome renowned singer/songwriter A. J. Wetzel for a free acoustic concert night at the library for adults (18+) on Monday, September 15. From small town Indiana, Wetzel grew up on rock-n-roll and country music. Influenced by songwriters like Bruce Springsteen and Bob Seger to Sturgill Simpson and Tyler Childers, A. J. always puts a focus on the lyrics and story-telling of a song. A. J.’s songwriting and Midwest tone is something that can get anyone’s toe tapping along. Throughout the concert, visit our pop-up “Star-Books” Café to get free library and coffeehouse-inspired refreshments, while supplies last. Current JCPL cardholders who are attending the concert can show your card (either physical, or digital on the Evergreen app) to receive a special VIP gift when checking-in at the entry table. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for attendees to pick seats, get refreshments, etc., but the concert will run from 6-7:30 p.m. Reservations are required to attend, so call or visit the library soon, because this event will fill up and A. J. is someone you will NOT want to miss seeing live!
