The Indiana Department of Revenue recently made the decision to stop printing State tax forms for distribution at public libraries. The State made this decision partly to cut costs and partly to encourage tax-payers to begin filing their taxes on-line.
So, with that in mind, starting February 1, JCPL will print the State tax booklets for $2. (The State tax booklet is 65 pages long, and the State has shifted the printing cost to us.) All other State tax forms (the tax return and common schedules) will be free of charge.
Also, Federal tax booklets and forms will likely be available by February 1. The IRS mails these out when they are ready to go. Keep checking back with us as to their availability.
You can also find your own forms right here:
Look and see if you qualify to file for free on-line.
