The 2016 Kindergarten Prep School (KiPS) ends August 2nd. More than 120 soon-to-be-kindergarten students have been coming to the library for one morning a week all summer to learn about working in groups, listening, and sharing. Along the way they’ve practiced a few pre-reading and writing skills, learned a bit about working with numbers, expressed themselves in art and music and played with new friends in “gym” class. The kids and their families have also learned that the library is a good place to visit.

KiPS is a cooperative project of the Jay County Public Library and the Jay School corporation.
