SUMMARY:Summer Reading Adventure!
DESCRIPTION:Let’s enjoy reading together this summer! All ages are welcome to come to the library and pick up a reading challenge bookmark between June 1 and July 18. Choose from one of several bookmarks and color a space every time you read. Kids ages 0-12 will also receive a free book for each bookmark they complete and will have a chance to win a 3D-Pen\, a robotic dog\, gift cards\, Legos\, a story projector\, and more! Teens and adults will have a chance to win lego sets\, puzzles\, a wearable blanket\, and gift cards from Amazon\, McDonald’s\, Dairy Queen\, Subway\, and Wendy’s! You may complete as many bookmarks as you would like! Each bookmark is an entry for the grand prize drawings. All forms must be turned in by 1:00 p.m. on July 18. \nShare:

SUMMARY:Purrs\, Paws\, & Paintbrushes
DESCRIPTION:What’s a farm without a cat and dog? Let’s celebrate our furry friends with the Jay County Farm Bureau\, Inc. and Jay County 4-H. Families with kids of all ages are invited to drop by the library on Thursday\, June 18 from 5-7 p.m. and make a creative cat painting and towel dog craft. Jay County 4-H Cat club members will be hosting a cat show in the library. Outside\, Jay County 4-H Dog Club members will be hosting agility demonstrations. A 4-H animal petting zoo will also be available for families to enjoy. Finally\, come see the Midwest Pet Refuge and Jay County Humane Society\, who will be bringing cats and dogs for families to meet and potentially adopt. No registration is required.
