Jay County Public Library is sponsoring a virtual kindergarten preparedness school (KiPS) this summer. From June 16-July 21 interactive, instructional videos will be posted each Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. on Jay County Public Library’s Facebook page. Virtual KiPS will include 6 weeks of activities, stories, and skills to help prepare your child for kindergarten. Register your child for this no-cost program by visiting jaycpl.lib.in.us, Jay County Public Library’s Facebook page, or by stopping into JCPL 315 North Ship Street. Virtual KiPS is available for children in the Jay County school district age 4- entering kindergarten 2020-2021 school year. Stop by JCPL after registering to pick up your child’s KiPS bag. This bag will include 6 weeks worth of worksheets, crafts, and school supplies that coordinate with the virtual KiPS videos. Please note: this program will be available to the first 100 students to register. While participants may continue to register throughout the summer, early registration is encouraged.
