Get the family together, explore your community, and get to know your local businesses! Children ages 3 through Grade 6 are invited to participate in the Great Stocking Stuffer Scavenger Hunt put on by State Farm’s Karmen Ward. The hunt will take place December 19-23. Children may pick up their stocking at 108 N Ship St. starting at 9:30 a.m. on December 19. There are only 200 stockings available, so hurry to claim yours! Child/children must be present to receive a stocking. Stocking and child must be present to receive gifts from all participating merchants. Children will receive a list of participating merchants when picking up their stocking. Once a child has their stocking, they can visit each of the participating businesses anytime they are open December 19-23 and receive a small gift of some kind!  JCPL is one of the businesses participating in the Great Stocking Stuffer and children will receive a reading-themed slap bracelet, a reading sticker, and a Santa chocolate when stopping by the library.  Happy hunting!
